Even the sceptics know that we have had ice-ages in intervals
of about 100 000 years. Right now we are at the end of a warm
period and should expect a slowing down of the Golf streem
so we then will face a gradually colder climate. And the CO2
contents should go down from 280 ppm to 180 ppm as the global
temperature is reduced by about 7 degrees C.
But instead we have in just 100 years increased the level
of CO2 to around 400 ppm, a level not seen maybe in a million
years or more. What will happen now?
I took a close look at the data reported from IPCC regarding
their temperature projections and they did not really fit
historic data. Their reports represent rather what they would
like to see than what data actually indicate.
The thermal
response to increasing CO2. A Swedish paper on
that subject can also be downloaded.
The main parts of this material were published by BMJ.
There I also argued for the introduction of CO2 ration cards
as the only practical way to really start doing something.
In a Swedish magazine I
have also pointed at the importance of really start doing
something.
